2027 F3 grid nears completion ahead of testing with host of announcements

Six drivers had their seats announced for the series today for next season’s campaign as teams and drivers gear up for the latest round of testing at Jerez.

Returning to the series are McLaren junior Matteo De Palo who switches from Trident Motorsport to MP Motorsport, Maciej Gladysz who joins De Palo after leaving ART Grand Prix and Mattia Colnaghi who leaves the Dutch team in favour of Campos.

Some new faces in the series are Ferrari junior Niccolo Maccagnani who moves from Italian F4 up to F3 with Trident, Dion Gowda completes the LN4 Fusion team after two seasons in Formula Regional European (FREC), while Zhenrui Chi joins De Palo and Gladysz at MP Motorsport after a full season alongside Gowda in FREC.

Testing gets underway tomorrow and into Wednesday. The full driver lineup below, with Yevan David - signed already by Van Amersfoort Racing - missing the test as Macedo steps in.
