Audi, who will debut in Formula 1 in 2026 have launched their ‘concept car’ ahead of the new season.
The team will form from the ashes of Stake/Sauber who leave the championship having played a part since they debuted in 1993.
Audi will debut, having first been announced for F1 in 2022 as an engine manufacturer, before announcing their works’ team plan October the same year.
The concept car features traditional Audi motorsport colours; silver, red and and black with the recognised ‘four rings’ logo emblazoned on the car.

The team will have its first chassis made in Hinwil, Sauber’s base, its engine in Germany and have it’s Technology Centre based in Bicister, England.
Having poached known names like Johnathan Wheatley, James Key and others including former Ferrari boss Mattia Binotto on top of their strong driver line up of Nico Hülkenberg and 2025 rookie Gabriel Bortoleto, they look set to build on the foundation built by Stake.
