Chief Designer Craig Skinner has departed Red Bull Racing ahead of the final round of pre season testing this week. The reason for his departure is unknown at present.

Skinner has been with Red Bull 20 years and has served as Chief Designer since 2022, helping to design the most dominant car in F1 history, the RB19.

Prior to his Red Bull career, Skinner worked for Williams and Jordan and gained first class honours in aeronautical engineering.

The timing of Skinner’s departure from Milton Keynes is a surprise, and leaves Red Bull in need of a critical team member ahead of a season where development is incredibly important in a new era of regulations.
