Former F1 driver Allan McNish has announced he’ll take on a new, important role in Audi’s team, helping to identify young new talents.

As the Director of the ‘Audi Revolut F1 Team Driver Development Programme’, McNish will be tasked with finding drivers suitable for the Audi model for the future.

McNish, who started 16 Grands Prix with Toyota in the 2002 season, has worked for many years with Audi with his relationship stretching back to the mid-2000’s when he raced for them in other series before eventually going on to a Team Manager role with their Formula E entry in the 2017-18 season.
