Rivera returns to F3 with Campos

Mexican teenager Ernesto Rivera will contest a second season in FIA Formula, staying with reigning constructors champions Campos Racing.
The Red Bull Junior Team driver impressed in his rookie season, finishing seventh in the drivers standings, despite missing the first round in Australia due to injury.
The 17 year old won twice in the category, first in Austria at the Red Bull Ring, then in Belgium at Spa alongside one additional podium finish and multiple points scoring performances.
His mid season form saw him in the championship top 5 and started rumours that the Mexican could make the jump F2, but Red Bull have seen sense in keeping him in F3 for a potential title charge.
Rivera: "After missing part of last season due to injury, I’m looking forward to competing in a full F3 season. I’m grateful to Campos Racing and Red Bull for their continued trust and support. I hope we can keep fighting for victories and build on what we achieved last season. I’m ready to give it everything!”
