Strømsted signs with Invicta to complete F2 teams’ lineup

Noah Stromsted will race in Formula 2 in the 2027 season for Invicta Racing alongside Freddie Slater, graduating from Formula 3.
The Dane ended his sophomore F3 season tenth overall, and with two victories and two additional podiums to his name over two seasons in the series.
He joins Invicta alongside Freddie Slater, who he shared a team with in 2026, racing for Trident Motorsport and they complete the Invicta lineup. He is the fourth announced driver for the 2027 F2 season after Slater, Tuukka Taponen (ART Grand Prix), Josh Durksen (Hitech).
Stromsted: “I’m really excited to be stepping up to FIA Formula 2 with Invicta Racing next year. I’ve learned a great deal competing in FIA Formula 3 since 2024 and I feel ready to take on the next challenge in my career. Over the past few seasons, Invicta Racing has established itself as the performance benchmark on the F2 grid and I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone in the team. I can’t wait to start preparing for 2027 and I’m excited to see what we can achieve together.”
