Campos’ American star Ugo Ugochukwu saw off Trident Racing driver Freddie Slater to take his first FIA Formula 3 victory, while Taito Kato rounded off the podium for ART Grand Prix after penalties ahead of him.
Ugochukwu took an early lead after an initial good start for his teammate Théophile Naël as the pack got busy behind, with Slater involved with his own teammate Noah Strømsted and Rodin’s Brando Badoer further back also getting involved in drama.

An early safety car was called when DAMS’ Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi found the wall but Ugochukwu held his nerve to see his the line first, despite another late safety car.

Penalties were handed to Naël and Strømsted for moving early and causing a collision respectively, with DAMS’ Nicola Lacorte a victim of the latter after a strong showing.
