Just three seats remain on the 2026 FIA Formula 2 grid after Laurens Van Hoepen and Gabriele Minì had their deals with Trident and MP Motorsport announced.
Van Hoepen, 20, steps up after two seasons in F3 and made his debut in the last two rounds with Trident at Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
In F3, the Dutch driver totalled five podiums over two seasons with ART Grand Prix that saw him take and 11th and 12th place overall in the championship standings.

2024 F3 runner up Minì contested the 2025 F2 season with PREMA after his step up, and ended the year 13th overall with the Italian outfit, taking three podiums - including one at the final round in Abu Dhabi.

MP have secured the service of the Alpine backed 20 year old and will hope he can propel the team up the order once more as he partners Ollie Goethe at the team.
