Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas will once again figure on the Formula 1 grid in 2026, as they both sign with Cadillac F1 Team; the newcomers in F1.
The signing of two experienced drivers shows Cadillac are looking for balance and stability in their first season in F1 with driver who have maturity, speed and skill still to showcase.

Perez and Bottas bring to Cadillac a combined 527 F1 race starts, 106 podiums, 23 pole positions & 16 wins - a clear sign of the kind of drivers the American team want onboard.
Bottas has served as Mercedes’ reserve since he left the Sauber setup at the end of 2024, and is rumoured to have rejected an approach from Alpine to join Cadillac.
Perez has also sat a season on the sidelines, having left Red Bull after his three season spell turned sour in 2024 despite early results and success.
Many names including Daniel Ricciardo, Alex Palou, Colton Herta and Mick Schumacher were touted for drives with ‘Caddy’ but the Americans now have their men.
