Jack Doohan will again be a part of the F1 paddock after he was announced as reserve driver by Haas. The Australian left Alpine at the end of 2025.
Doohan signs with Haas after an ill fated spell with Alpine that saw him take part in seven Grands Prix, failing to score any points despite steady progress before being unceremoniously dumped by the French team in favour of Franco Colapinto.

Doohan is without a racing programme for 2026 after testing Super Formula machinery with limited success and will be at each race with the American team.
The 22 year old had impressed on the road to F1, finishing runner up in F3 to now IndyCar racer Dennis Hauger in 2021 before spending two seasons with Invicta Racing in F2, finishing sixth and third in each respective season.

Prior to racing with Alpine, he was also on the books of Red Bull and now adds a third F1 team to his CV.
