For the latest 10 Questions, we’re joined by 2026 GB3 Championship rookie, Jason Pribyl! The American has graduated from GB4 this year, after the 2025 season saw him narrowly miss out on a race win as he raced for ADM.
1. What’s your first memory of racing?
My first memory isn’t when I was racing but a moment that got me into racing. It’s when my dad took me to the Historic Races at Road America. I think I was only 4 or 5 (years old) at the time, but it was a race he had been going to with his dad for a long time, but when he took me, my first thought was “I want to do that”.
2. Who’s your racing hero or heroes?
I don’t have any racing heroes, I think I’m too competitive for that, and any heroes I have I would want to beat. But in my career, my parents and my competitors are what inspire me to be better.
3. Favourite race car to drive so far in your career?
So far I have to say the USF Pro 2000 is my favorite. The power to weight ratio is ridiculous and the low end torque makes it such a fun car to drive. That being said, I’m really looking forward to driving the new generation of GB3 car with 30 more horsepower, so maybe my answer will change next month.

4. Proudest racing moment so far?
When I first moved to the UK to begin racing, I was absolutely nobody. I knew only a few people, but I knew what I was capable of even when I could tell people doubted me. Winning my first race in the UK was good, but winning my second one only a weekend later was my proudest moment.
5. Do you prefer fast circuits or technical circuits?
That’s a tough question because there is always a place for both. I enjoy a good technical circuit, and circuits can be both fast and technical at the same time. The most important thing for me when it comes to liking a circuit is the flow. When each corner is in the right place, and the curbing and track limits are well thought out, that is a good circuit to me.

6. Race in the wet or race in the dry?
I used to be able to answer this question with full confidence that I prefer it wet, because it just makes things more interesting. But recently, having had the chance to experience so many new tracks, I like the opportunity to drive them in the purest form when they are dry.
7. Favourite circuit you’ve raced on?
My favorite circuit I’ve raced on has to be Mid-Ohio, but I’ll add an honorable mention for Brands Hatch GP which is my favorite circuit I’ve driven, despite it not being the best to race on.

8. Favourite you’ve not raced on yet?
Between my two biggest dream circuits, Mount Panorama and Circuit des 24 Heures du Mans, I think Mount Panorama has to be the one I’d go to next.

9. Your favourite F1 livery of all time?
The RB10, Red Bull’s 2014 livery.

10. Who’s the best driver you’ve raced against?
To find a driver that has just picked me apart on track I have to go back to my karting days. Unfortunately in that department there are too many to count, and sadly not many of them are racing anymore. But as I move up the ranks, I’m looking forward to who comes next.
