Kimi Antonelli has become Formula One's second-youngest ever race winner after converting his pole position to a win at the Chinese Grand Prix. He lead home teammate Russell and Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton.

Before the race had even started disaster struck for some drivers. Lando Norris, Gabriel Bortoleto and Alex Albon never emerged from their garages ahead of the formation lap and could not make it out for the race start.
Oscar Piastri made it further than in last week's Australian Grand Prix but was wheeled back to the garage before the race start.
On lap one of the Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton took the lead of the race from Kimi Antonelli whilst the young Italian battled with Charles Leclerc. Isack Hadjar also suffered from a spin.
On lap three, Kimi Antonelli reclaimed the lead. George Russell and Charles Leclerc also engaged in a heated battle for second place.
Lap 10 saw a Safety Car period for Lance Stroll who stopped following a suspected battery issue.
Hamilton and Leclerc battled on lap 37 and on lap 33, there was an incident between Esteban Ocon and Franco Colapinto that resulted in both drivers spinning and some contact.
Lap 46 saw Max Verstappen told to retire the car.
On lap 56, Kimi Antonelli won, with George Russell finishing in second and Lewis Hamilton in third.
