Cupra Kiro confirm Martí to partner Ticktum in 25/26 season

Josep ‘Pepe’ Marti will join Cupra Kiro in Formula E after a two year stint in FIA Formula 2 with Campos, ending his association with the series, replacing David Beckmann.

A Red Bull Junior for much of his time on the Formula ladder, Martí, who is managed by Fernando Alonso’s A14 Management company, made a rapid move through the ranks, from Spanish F4 to Formula 2 in the space of three seasons.

In Formula 2, over two seasons he’s amassed four races wins, four additional podiums, including three of those wins this season which has taken him to sixth in the series standings with two rounds to go.

After Cupra’s announcement of Dan Ticktum yesterday, their team line up is now set with the season fast approaching.

His plan for the remainder of the F2 season is unclear with the opening FE weekend the same week as Abu Dhabi.
