FIA Formula E team Cupra Kiro have confirmed that British driver Dan Ticktum will once again drive for the team in the upcoming new season.

Ticktum, 26, will be entering his fourth Formula E season after a reasonably successful 24/25 season with the Cupra Team that saw him take his first series win for the team in their first season under the Cupra Kiro moniker.

The British driver originally joined the series for the 2021/22 season after leaving Formula 2 after two season in the championship split between Carlin (now Rodin) and DAMS.

Ticktum has regularly split opinion amongst race fans with his comments over team radio a regular talking point but is also a popular character in the paddock and on social media.

Ticktum’s 2024/25 teammate David Beckmann has left the team and his new one is yet to be announced, although they’ve been strongly linked with F2 driver and Red Bull junior Josep ‘Pepe’ Martí.

The Formula E season starts December 6th.
