In the aftermath of the final race of the season in Abu Dhabi and ahead of the end of season test, teams are continuing to lock in line up. Irishman Alex Dunne is sticking with Rodin, while Ritomo Miyata returns for a third season - switching to Hitech TGR from ART.

Dunne will return for his sophomore season, after an impressive rookie campaign that saw him lead the standings and remain mathematically in the title fight until the penultimate round. Rumours remain that he’ll sign with the Alpine Academy for 2026 after he left the McLaren programme.

Overall, the Offaly-born racer took fifth place in the championship standings, winning two races, with seven podiums and two pole positions to his names.

After two season with seasons Rodin, then ART Grand Prix, Japanese driver Ritomo Miyata is returning for a third attempt at F2, switching to Hitech TGR. The 2023 Super Formula Champion has struggled to make waves in F2 and has mustered just one podium from his 39 F2 starts, and finished 17th in the standings this year.

Hitech’s link with Toyota, and Toyota’s with Haas, this is possibly Miyata’s final chance to show what he can do and aim for F1 before he makes another big career decision.
