Hauger makes step to IndyCar with Dale Coyne

Indy NXT Champion Dennis Hauger has been announced by Dale Coyne as their driver for the 2026 season.
Hauger, moved his racing focus to America from the start of the 2024 season, having spent his entire junior career to then racing within Europe or European based series’.
Champion of Formula 3 with PREMA in 2021 when he was a Red Bull junior driver, Hauger impressed initially when he graduated to Formula 2, but struggled to pull clear and showcase his ability in increasingly talented F2 grids.

The Norwegian left F2 with five wins, 13 podiums and flourished in Indy NXT driving for Andretti and took wins on six occasion, with 14 total podiums and eight pole positions as his early season form catapulted him to the top of the standings.
Dale Coyne have snapped up the 22 year old as they seek to build a strong, dependable team after the departure of Rinus VeeKay.
