Invicta Racing have confirmed that Paraguayan driver Joshua Durksën will race for the team for the 2026 FIA Formula 2 season, as he switches to the team from AIX Racing.

Durksen, 21, will contest his third F2 season with Invicta after two with AIX.

In signing Durksën, Invicta are signing a three time F2 race winner, with nine podiums to his name. He currently sits 12th in the standings with two rounds to go after a 10th place finish in his rookie season in 2024.

Inconsistent qualifyings have so far held back any strong championship challenges for Durksen but with Invicta now the team at the forefront of developing drivers in F2, the switch for the Paraguayan looks increasingly well timed.

Rumours are linking Invicta with Rafael Camara, the Ferrari junior and 2025 FIA F3 champion with the second seat.
