McLaren announce plans for development and youth drivers after Fornaroli F1 reserve reveal

McLaren’s announcement of Leonardo Fornaroli today accompanied news on where their other rostered drivers will compete this season.
The Woking team has nine rostered drivers including several who had already announced plans but today’s announcement saw Pato O’Ward, who races for McLaren’s IndyCar outfit, confirmed for another season as reserve, alongside F2 champion Fornaroli.

McLaren also announced plans for development driver, Dutchman Richard Verschoor, who will race sports cars in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS) for Duqueine Team as he moves on from the feeder series ladder.

Young Belgian racer Dries Van Langendonck will race in British F4, the series he made his debut in cars in 2025, racing for Rodin Motorsport.
