Mercedes F1 Team have confirmed they’ll continue with George Russell and Kimi Antonelli for 2026, keeping the faith with their current line up.
Russell, 27, debuted in F1 for Williams in 2019 and has since raced 146 Grands Prix, taking five wins, 23 podiums and seven pole positions.
He currently sits fourth in the championship standings and is the only driver outside of McLaren and Red Bull to have won a Grand Prix in 2025.

Sticking with Mercedes, he ends speculation linking him with Aston Martin and Red Bull.
Antonelli, 19, is in his rookie year of F1 and has endured an up-down season with qualifying being a key area to work on in 2026, with some results less than what Mercedes’ high standards would require.
That said, Mercedes see Antonelli as the future and are sure to continue helping the young Italian develop.

A loan to Alpine had been touted pre-season if results were less than desirable, but the Brackley outfit have quashed that and entrusted Antonelli with the seat.
