The 2026 F1 Academy grid is taking shape with four drivers confirmed today, ahead of the finale of the season in Las Vegas. Alisha Palmowski and Rafaela Ferreira return for sophomore campaigns, while Lisa Billard and Esmee Kosterman will make their full season debuts.
Palmowski, who was GB4 Championship vice-champion in 2024, stepped up in 2025 and has one race win and three other podiums to her name so far this season as she’s competed with Campos Racing with Red Bull backing.

Ferreira, 20, has competed for Campos also, backed by Racing Bulls and will remain for 2025. She’s registered five points finishes so far.

French driver Lisa Billard joins, backed by the Gatorade entry, and will be - at present - the youngest driver on the grid at 16 years old. She made a Wildcard entry debut at Singapore this season. She raced in French F4 this season, finishing 19th overall.

Esmee Kosterman, 20, also made a Wildcard appearance this season at her home race in Zandvoort. She’s been racing in British F4 this season and will now be a 2026 F1 Academy fixture, running the LEGO Racing car.

So far, with these announcements included, six drivers have had their seats confirmed, with Ella Lloyd returning, and Ella Stevens joining her at Rodin and McLaren.
