Newcomers Citroën confirm all star first ever Formula E lineup

Formula E newcomers Citroën have confirmed their lineup for the upcoming season - signing two time series champion Jean Eric Vergne and multi race winner Nick Cassidy.

Vergne joins the team from DS Penske, have spent three seasons with the team. Frenchman Vergne is a headline name for the team and is viewed as a Formula E legend, having raced in the series since the inaugural season and was a back to back champion in the 2017-18 season and the 2018-19 season.

Cassidy meanwhile, joins from Jaguar and is another highly regarded driver with 11 Formula E wins to his name, 25 podiums, six pole

positions and two vice-champion honours to his name, having also raced for Envision previously.

Citroën as newcomers, have shown their intent with these signings and have clearly come to fight for wins in the series.
