Single seater teams announce lineups for Macau

Series champions, F1 juniors, a previous Macau winner and more are included as the Formula 4 and Formula Regional drivers have been announced for the Guía Circuit event next month.


In the ‘Formula Regional World Cup’ a number of 2025 FIA Formula 3 stars and FRECA racers are involved, while the Formula 4 category features four series champions from this year.


The headline names for Formula Regional include 2025 F3 winners and podium finishers such as Noah Stromsted, Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak, Marí Boya & Théophile Naël, as well as F1 juniors Rashid Al Dhaheri (Mercedes) and Mattia Colnaghi (Red Bull).

Two-time Macau winner Charles Leong returns to attempt a hattrick, while Freddie Slater and Matteo De Palo - the top two in FRECA, are also competing.

The Formula 4 category features five 2025 series champions; Kean Nakamura-Berta (Italian F4), Fionn McLaughlin (British F4), Alexandre Munoz (French F4), Emanuele Olivieri (F4 UAE) & Ary Bansal (GB4 Championship) and a handful of recognised names like Thomas Bearman (brother of Haas driver Ollie), Rintaro Sato (son of former F1 hero Takuma) as well as British driver Emily Cotty, and Sebastian Wheldon (son of the late Dan Wheldon), who’s won multiple F4 races this season.
