Last time out, Josef Newgarden took the win at Phoenix Raceway whilst the reigning champion, Álex Palou suffered from a non-finish.

What to expect from the 2026 Grand Prix of Arlington
The Arlington Grand Prix will happen at 4:30 pm UK time (12:30pm local) on Sunday 15th March.
With the track being new, nobody will have any idea about how the race will go until Practice 1 comes to a close.

The weather looks to be typical of Texas: hot and dry. The conditions may make the race more physical for drivers, which could provide and extra challenge.
After his disappointing race in Phoenix, Álex Palou will surely come back fighting and more eager to win than ever.
Last week, the rookie drivers looked strong- Mick Schumacher claimed his highest-ever qualifying position with a fourth place.
Scott McLaughlin has already proven himself as a strong fighter this season, and will be looking to improve on last week’s eighth-place finish. Additionally Penske’s newest driver, David Malukas, started on pole for the Phoenix race but could not get a race win. Will Arlington be where he takes his first victory?
Someone who should never be discounted is Scott Dixon- he has some of the most experience out of all of the drivers and is known for his adaptability and skill. Will Dixon claim his first win in 2026?
Will Power seems to have adjusted more to the Andretti car, but does not yet seem absolutely comfortable- will Arlington be the place that he finds perfection at his new team?
