DAMS announce Xie to complete 2026 F3 grid

French outfit DAMS Lucas Oil have today announced the signing of Gerrard Xie to their Formula 3 squad, completing the 2026 FIA F3 grid.
Xie returns to the series for a sophomore season after racing for Hitech TGR where he finished 29th overall in 2025, but returns for another stint.
The Chinese racer stepped up after seasons in GB3 and a Chinese Formula 4 title and ended the F3 season with a best race finish of 10th.
He’ll line up alongside Italian Nicola Lacorte, who is also a returning name and Thai driver Nandhavud Bhirombhakdi who is a rookie, and moves up from FREC.
DAMS are embarking on their own sophomore season having joined the series for 2025 when they replaced Jenzer Motorsport.
