Nina Gademan has been announced for a second season in F1 Academy, maintaining her backing from the Alpine F1 Team. The Dutch driver will switch from PREMA to MP Motorsport.

Gademan, 22, debuted as a series Wildcard driver at the Dutch Grand Prix in 2024 before securing a full drive with PREMA for 2025.

In her rookie season in 2025, Gademan finished sixth overall in the series standings, winning one race taking three other podiums on route.

Injury ruled her out of one race part way through the season after a previous accident in testing had hindered her pre season practice.

2025 also saw her race in British and Saudi Arabian F4, the Formula Trophy and Formula Winter Series.

Speaking on the move, Gademan said; “I’m really happy to be part of the MP Motorsport family for next year”, she said. “They have been strong performers in F1 ACADEMY from the start, and it’s always an advantage to race with your home team.”
