Haas have today announced a strengthening of their relationship with Toyota, dropping MoneyGram as a title in sponsor in favour of the Japanese motor giants. The team will now operate as ‘Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Haas F1 Team’.

Toyota have served as a ‘technical partner’ of the American team since 2024 and as part of the relationship run Japanese drivers in tests and Free Practice including Ritomo Miyata, Ryō Hirakawa and Sho Tsuboi. The Japanese manufacturer also offer insights on other areas of the day to day running of the team, as well as company branding appearing predominantly on the rear wing of the current car.

The team is set for 2026, remaining with one time F1 race winner Esteban Ocon and the impressive young Brit Ollie Bearman sticking the team.

Haas’ move to strengthen with Toyota furthers rumours of the potential of Toyota returning as a constructor or engine supplier in the future.
